When
is my coffee route day?
Coffee route days are based on a 20 day/ 5-day work week schedule. Your
route day will either be one day every 20 work days or 2 days every
20 work days. Your route day is always on the same day. So, for instance,
your route day may be every 4th Thursday or every other Monday. Changes
to your schedule only happen at your request, in an emergency situation,
or around holidays. As always, you are welcome to call and well
give you specifics.
Do
you have some way to remind me when youll be by?
We would be more than happy to e-mail or call you with a reminder. Just
let us know your e-mail address or give us a contact name and phone
number!
What
if I run out of something before my delivery day?
Generally speaking, your driver will stock your shelves & cabinets
based on your average use or on your specific requests. Of course, things
like large meetings, cold weather, or new employees can change that.
So if you find youre running out, just call or e-mail us. Your
driver may not be nearby, but we can certainly make plans to be there
ASAP and in an emergency, call and well do our best to
work with you to keep things running smoothly.
Why don’t I get a paper delivery slip with my delivery?
Your signature is electronically captured via our advanced handheld computer. You can review what has been delivered on the handheld before signing. After you sign the handheld, the order is then locked. The driver can not add or remove product to the list after you have signed for it.You will receive an invoice in about a day or two that will contain the products you received with your signature printed out on it.
Do
you carry my boss favorite coffee product?
Just ask! If our suppliers carry it, we can too.
Is
coffee the only thing you sell?
We can furnish your company with coffee and tea and all the accompanying
products such as cream, sugar, cups and stir sticks. We can also deliver
soda products, juices, bottled water and snacks.
What
if I have a problem with my route driver?
Its not likely that youll have a problem with your driver,
but what if your driver puts things away in the wrong place, or what
if youd just like to speak with your driver regarding your expectations
or needs
Just call or e-mail the office! The office can give
your driver a message, and our drivers generally have time allotted
in the afternoon to return calls.
Whats
that blue stuff my route driver cleans my pots with?
Its a citrus-based glass pot cleaner. Weve also been asked
if it can be used in your coffee unit at home
the answer is NO!
This product can be used for any glass product or ceramic coffee mug,
but you should follow your manufacturers directions to clean the
inside of your home brewer.
Can
I pay by credit card?
You bet! We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. You can pay
for one invoice or have us automatically debit your account. Its
your choice, and it can be accomplished with one phone call!
How
much does it cost to have you fix my brewer?
Unless you own your own equipment, it doesnt cost you a thing!
When you contract with Southern Refreshment for coffee services, we
furnish your coffee equipment as part of the service we perform
and we maintain that equipment. If your brewer isnt filling the
pot or is overflowing, just call or e-mail for service.
Can
you come right away to service my equipment?
We respond to all service calls within 24 hours generally speaking,
but if youve got an emergency situation, well certainly
do our best to respond as soon as possible. To move or reposition equipment,
we need a little longer, so please contact us and give us your timeline.
Well work with you to be sure you have what you need, when you
need it.
How
often is my brewer cleaned?
The outside of your brewer will be cleaned when your driver delivers
your product. You should rinse out the brew cone daily and wipe the
surface above it periodically.The inside
of your brewer is just like your water heater at home. It does not require
cleaning. If your coffee tastes or smells funny, well come out
and take a look at your brewer. There are several adjustments and changes
that can be made to improve the performance of your brewer.
How many employees do I need for coffee
service with Southern Refreshment?
It varies according to the type of business you have. By and large,
we look for a minimum of 20 employees for coffee service. Your business, on the other hand may have
the kind of foot traffic that warrants service, so please give us a
call or send us an e-mail. If we cant help you, chances are we
know someone who can.
Why
is the water coming out of my machine brown?
There are a couple of reasons why the water coming out of your brewer
would be brown or even yellow. The first answer is that someone has
poured a pot of coffee through a brewer to heat it. That is a BIG no-no.
It completely messes up the inside of your brewer.
The
second answer is that there is residue in your brew cone thats
the basket that holds your filter and coffee and it simply needs
to be cleaned.
